The annual meeting of the Virginia Pork Council, Inc. will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, 2023 at Virginia Farm Bureau Federation in the Auditorium, 12580 W. The election of pork producer delegate candidates for the 2024 National Pork Producers (Pork Act) Delegate Body will also take place at 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Virginia Pork Council, Inc. at the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation in the Auditorium, 12580 W. Creek Parkway, Richmond, VA 23238. All Virginia pork producers are invited to attend.

Any producer, age 18 or older, who is a resident of Virginia and has paid all assessments due since August 2022 may be considered as a delegate candidate and/or participate in the election. All eligible producers are encouraged to have available a sales receipt proving that hogs were sold in their name and the checkoff deducted.
